Privacy Policy

Clipsound: Video to MP3 ("Clipsound", "we") is published by TheYourList. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

Your files

Videos, audio and pictures you pick, record or create are processed entirely on your device by a built-in engine. We do not upload, store or view your media. Exported files stay in the app's private storage and, if "Save to phone automatically" is on, are copied to your Music, Movies or Pictures › Clipsound folder. You can delete them at any time.

Permissions

• Microphone — only when you use the Voice recorder. Recordings stay on your device.
• Modify system settings — only when you ask Clipsound to set a file as ringtone, notification sound or alarm.
• Storage (Android 9 and below) — only to save exports to your shared folders.
• Internet — for ads, analytics and purchases.

Files are chosen with the Android system picker, so Clipsound can only read the files you select.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used and to fix problems. It collects app usage events (for example "tool opened" or "export finished"), device model, OS version, app language, country and an app-instance identifier. It does not collect your files, their content or your contacts.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Unity Ads. Unity may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google settings. See Unity's privacy policy at unity.com/legal.

Purchases

Monthly and yearly subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details; we only receive confirmation that a purchase is active.

Children

Clipsound is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers above (Google/Firebase, Unity, Google Play) to operate the app. Data is encrypted in transit.

Retention and deletion

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stores in its private storage. To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your app instance, see Delete your data.
